In,1970 I was born in Myeik Townshpip which is anisland among the Mergui Archipelago at the southern end of Myanmar. I am one of two siblings and my elder brother, Maung Thi is a successful film director. I am a film actor, winner of two Acedamy Awards awarded by Myanmar government. Having keen interest in photography, I have tried to become a professional photographer since late 2000. But Istarted photo-graphing during my early life as an actor around 1989.Although I have no intention for profit in my photographs, I hope my photographs to be evaluated by the families who want to keep my photographs as their private precious possessions.

• He is chosen as an Unicef Representatives to Myanmar for 2005.
